Tackling Islamophobia and Promoting Equality
In conjunction with the Islamic Diversity Centre.
Monday 15th March, 2pm-7pm
Venue: The National Glass Centre, Sunderland
Tackling Homophobia and Promoting Equality
In conjunction with Stonewall and The Lesbian & Gay Foundation.
Monday 22nd March, 2pm-7pm
Venue: The National Glass Centre. Sunderland
These conferences will provide educators with knowledge and accessible resources to develop programmes of Citizenship education; meet their legal obligations under the Equality Act 2006 and promote equality and tackle discrimination in line with the new Ofsted framework.
Both conferences will include guest speakers, workshops, drama performances, food and refreshments.
