Viv Anderson Biography
Viv was the first black footballer to represent England at full international level and made more than 300 league appearances for Nottingham Forest.
He played for Forest between 1974 and 1984, and first backed the Show Racism the Red Card campaign while assistant manager at Middlesbrough FC in 1995.
In doing so, Viv became the campaign's second-ever patron, after founder Shaka Hislop - he was vital in securing the support for our early events from Middlesbrough FC players.
He was presented with his award on the pitch at the City Ground in November 2012.
